History of the building
William Valkott is the chief architectural Scot of Moscow. He built several brilliant mansions, the Lutheran Church, the famous Hotel Metropol, and in 1904 began the construction of the House of St. Andrew in Spiridonyevsky Lane.
The funds for its construction were given by another Scottish Muscovite Jane McGill. Therefore, the building looks a little alien even on the patriarchals, and on the facade you can consider all four British coats of arms. So, from left to right: England (three lions), Scotland (one lion), Ireland (Arfa) and Wales (dragon). Typically, the flag in the middle is still Scottish.
After 1917, the building was a hostel for teachers of Moscow University, which then became a hotel for the party elite.
Now in the house on Spiridonyevsky – again the hotel. But only for those who were here for love.

Patriarchal ponds
Patriarchal ponds are one of the most amazing Moscow places. By the way, there is only one pond here, but once there were three (pay attention, strolling, on a three-pound lane). It became even easier with one pond, and they decided not to change the name according to the Moscow UpCycle Tradition.
Around the pond is the main metropolitan promenade. You can meet young ladies, and boyfriends, and mothers with strollers, and pensioners, and students with books and coffee. But the main thing is why they come to the Patriarchals – to live in Moscow with might and main.

MOSS HOSPITALITY
For this unique time, the best local projects in Moscow under the leadership of the Moss Hospitality team have united at the Marco Polo Moss Hospital. Our team created the first boutique hotel in Moscow, and now intends to spread its experience beyond its limits.
As it is accepted by MOSS, you will be surprised by care (this is how we understand hospitality!), At the attention to the details (contrary to the proverb, our religion in them), and – a unique emotional service (heart is our working tool).
Yes, we have a vast experience. However, everything that we came up with Marco Polo can only happen here and now.

The new slogan of the Hotel “Marco Loves You”, as if written by lipstick – on the one hand, setting the playful tone of the Patriarchals, and on the other – openly informing that our team was used to doing everything with love and care.
